Local Knowledge

Chef Sudantha was born and raised in Tangalle, only 15 minutes from Meda Gedara. After finishing school he set sail travelling around the world gaining years of international experience in catering and cooking. You will have the opportunity to experience a delicious selection of a typical Sri Lankan foods; be adventurous!

Exquisite cuisine

Sudantha has a very impressive CV, early in his career he managed Taru Villas and more recently gaining valuable experience working in a fine dining restaurant in Singapore before returning to home to be Chef de Cuisine in the exclusive Italian restaurant at Anantara Peace Haven. Chef Sudantha is the perfect person to manage the Meda Gedara kitchen and create what we all believe to be one of the finest menus in any villa in Sri Lanka. An exciting culinary experience awaits anybody lucky enough to be cooked for by Chef Sudantha.
